As part of the France-Romania season, the rector of the Politechnica University in Bucharest suggested to the Toulouse INP President to organise a forum based on digital technology and start-ups from both countries. The aim is to create common projects between academic actors and private sectors from both countries. 

The event is planned on 3 days, from 17 to 19 of April 2019 at the INP-ENSEEIHT and is free.

During this event, the program will hold conferences of romanian and french researchers on the chosen themes, then round tables with participants, one student hackatlon, meeting with start-ups, between students and start-ups, between start-ups and French and Romanian incubator…

Conference themes / round tables: 

  • Blockchain, value created, business model, legal aspects…,
  • IA, intelligent software made for customer satisfaction and a more profitable and also eco-responsible business,
  • Cybersecurtity,
  • Transport and mobility

Several potential speakers by theme at least one french and one romanian. 

Hackatlon organisation: 

  • Students from a variety of disciplines: law, engineering, business… from different schools and universities from Toulouse or Romanian.
  • 8 to 10 teams with 5 to 6 persons will work on 5 industrial themes during 1 and a half day.
  • Company and business partners are invited to make theme suggestions and also suggestion of problem to be solved by the students during the hackatlon. 
  • We might give awards to the first 3 teams (max= 1k€/1°team, leess for 2° team and 3°team) sponsored by the organizing institutions.
  • Work languages: French and/or English

The event will be open to Master or PhD students (giving training credits), to researchers, teacher-researchers, start-uppers, interested by these conference themes.
